By transitioning from in-house prototyping to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/prototalgroup.com\/services\/industrial-3d-printing\/\">Industrial 3D Printing<\/a>, Macula was able to scale production rapidly while maintaining tight tolerances, high surface quality, and a fast time to market.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Litecom ist ein d\u00e4nisches Unternehmen, das sich auf technische L\u00f6sungen f\u00fcr gro\u00df angelegte Live-Produktionen spezialisiert hat, darunter internationale Veranstaltungen wie X Factor, die Zulu Comedy Awards und den Eurovision Song Contest. Aufbauend auf ihrer Erfahrung im Live-Entertainment erkannte Litecom einen Bedarf an fortschrittlicheren und flexibleren Lichtsteuerungselementen. Dies f\u00fchrte zur Gr\u00fcndung von Macula, einer Tochtergesellschaft, die sich auf die Entwicklung und Vermarktung eines neuen Lichtsteuerungssystems f\u00fcr die Unterhaltungsindustrie konzentriert.  <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Die Herausforderung<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In der ersten Entwicklungsphase produzierte Litecom Prototypen mit hauseigenen FDM 3D- Druckern. Dieser Ansatz war zwar f\u00fcr erste Tests geeignet, wies aber auch Einschr\u00e4nkungen auf: <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Unzureichende Toleranzen und Oberfl\u00e4chendetails f\u00fcr Endverbrauchskomponenten<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Begrenzte Eignung f\u00fcr die Serienproduktion<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Beschr\u00e4nkungen bei der Skalierung der Produktion zur Deckung der externen Nachfrage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mit zunehmender Produktreife und wachsendem Interesse am Macula-System ben\u00f6tigte Litecom eine Fertigungsmethode, die eine produktionsgerechte Qualit\u00e4t und skalierbare St\u00fcckzahlen erm\u00f6glicht, ohne dass es zu Verz\u00f6gerungen bei der Werkzeugherstellung oder hohen Vorabinvestitionen kommt.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Ansatz zur Herstellung<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Following an initial evaluation of industrial additive manufacturing options, Litecom engaged with our\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/prototalgroup.com\/about-us\/locations\/denmark\/\">Prototal site in Denmark<\/a>\u00a0to support the transition from prototyping to serial production.<\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Technologie und Materialauswahl<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Industrial 3D Printing with the technology <a href=\"https:\/\/prototalgroup.com\/services\/industrial-3d-printing\/polymer\/sls\/\">Selective Laser Sintering (SLS)<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>PA 2210 FR, ausgew\u00e4hlt wegen seiner Dimensionsstabilit\u00e4t, Langlebigkeit und flammhemmenden Eigenschaften<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Nachbearbeitung einschlie\u00dflich Oberfl\u00e4chenbehandlung und F\u00e4rben vor der Auslieferung<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Industrieller 3D Druck im SLS Verfahren erm\u00f6glichte es, die Macula-Komponenten im Vergleich zum Desktop-Druck mit deutlich h\u00f6herer Pr\u00e4zision und Wiederholbarkeit zu produzieren und gleichzeitig f\u00fcr die Serienfertigung geeignet zu bleiben.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Skalierung auf Serienfertigung<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nach mehreren Design-Iterationen stieg die Nachfrage nach dem Macula-System schnell an. Durch den Einsatz industriellen 3D Drucks war es Macula m\u00f6glich: <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Die Produktionskapazit\u00e4t zu erh\u00f6hen, ohne auf einen Werkzeugwechsel warten zu m\u00fcssen<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Den direkten \u00dcbergang von validierten Prototypen zur Serienfertigung zu \u00fcberbr\u00fccken, sowie<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Schnell auf die Nachfrage am Market zu reagieren.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Diese Flexibilit\u00e4t erm\u00f6glichte es der neu gegr\u00fcndeten Tochtergesellschaft, den Markt ohne die Verz\u00f6gerungen zu betreten, die typischerweise mit einem traditionellen Produktionsanlauf verbunden sind.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Die wichtigsten Vorteile industriellen 3D Drucks<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Der Einsatz des industriellen 3D Drucks unterst\u00fctzte die Produktentwicklung und Produktionsstrategie von Macula in drei Schl\u00fcsselbereichen:<\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Gestaltungsfreiheit<\/h4>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die Geometrie der Komponenten konnte ohne die Beschr\u00e4nkungen herk\u00f6mmlicher Fertigungsmethoden auf ihre Funktionalit\u00e4t hin optimiert werden, was eine bessere Integration und Design-Effizienz erm\u00f6glicht.<\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Kontrollierbare Produktionskosten<\/h4>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die Produktionskosten blieben vom Prototyp bis zur Serienproduktion vorhersehbar, ohne dass Macula in Formen oder Werkzeuge investieren mussten.<\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Schnelle Markteinf\u00fchrung<\/h4>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die M\u00f6glichkeit, direkt vom Design zu produktionsreifen Komponenten \u00fcberzugehen, erm\u00f6glichte einen kurzen und effizienten Entwicklungszyklus und unterst\u00fctzte einen schnellen Markteintritt.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Laufende Produktion<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Today,\u00a0Prototal\u00a0is responsible for the\u00a0serial production of handles\u00a0for the Macula system.
